They were married in St. Jerome Catholic Church on May 7, 1977. Jeffrey has been a machine repairman at Rock Tenn Paper Corporation for the past 16 years.

He is also a volunteer fireman with Bedford Township. Leandra is a secretary at the Battle Creek Math and Science Center after spending 13 years between Coburn and Verona Elementaries. They both enjoy camping and spring breaks in Florida. They are also avid Redwing fans. Their families would like to Jim and Opal Lossing Jim and Opal Lossing of 5127 Paradise Road will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 6, 2002.

Jim and the former Opal Dunithan were married on May 6, 1952, in Union City. Jim served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Newport News from 1952 to 1956. Jim was employed at StarBendix Mobile Homes from 1956 to 1974 and later retired from Harper Creek Schools. Opal was employed at East Leroy Grocery' from 1974 to 1981 and later retired from-Orchard Park Grocery, Drive South. The couple has two children, Diane (DeeDee) Passmore of Union City, and Mrs.

Jerry (Debbie)Qualls of Athens. They also have three grandchildren, Mrs. Tom (Jamie) Bishop of Sherwood, and Jeff and James Quails of Athens. Also included in their family is their very special and spoiled dog, Jim enjoys fishing and Opal enjoys working jigsaw puzzles. They both enjoy vacationing by train where they have taken in such sights as the Black Hills, the Snow train to Canada and traveling to California.

Erica and Ron met at Central Michigan University, where they both are graduates. Ron is from Grand Rapids and is currently working in Corporate real estate. Erica is a graduate of Lakeview High School in Battle Creek and is working at the. Discovery Place Science Museum.

Ron and Erica are living in Charlotte, North Carolina. They plan to be married June 29, 2002. Willoughby Bowerman Gregory Byron Willoughby and Jennifer Renee Bowerman have announced their engagement. They are planning a garden wedding at the Kellogg House Manor, this July. Gregory is the son of Robert and Sandi Willoughby of Battle Creek.

Jennifer is the daughter of Linda Bowerman of Schoolcraft and the late Mr. Larry Bowerman of Vicksburg. Harold Winer Harold A. Winer will celebrate his 90th birthday May 14, 2002. His family invites his friends to celebrate with him at an Open House on: Saturday, May 11,2002 2-5 p.m.
